Wicke is een van ’s werelds grootste fabrikanten van industriële wielen, banden, assen, zwenkwielen en bokwielen voor intern transport met wereldwijd circa 900 medewerkers.
Wij maken in het bijzonder lastwielen, aandrijfwielen, looprollen, steunwielen, wielen voor palletwagens, steunzwenkwielen, wielen met staalband, steigerwielen, wielen voor winkelwagentjes, wielen voor rolcontainers, geveerde zwenkwielen en klantspecifieke high-end zwaarlastwielen voor de industriële voertuigtechniek, robotvoertuigen, apparaten voor interne logistiek, de bouwindustrie, de distributielogistiek en transportinstallaties.
De banden voor de wielen worden in onze eigen internationale fabrieken geproduceerd op basis van eigen constructies van gespoten thermoplastische kunststoffen, gegoten elastomeren (polyurethaan), rubber, elastisch rubber en NDIIThane® voor de specifieke toepassingen van onze OEM- en distributieklanten. Daartoe bieden wij de hoogste productie-expertise en productiviteit in de staalbouw met een eigen lasserij en perserij maar ook voor aluminium spuitgietwerk en voor giet- en smeedstukken om onze banden te completeren met velgen, stuurvorken, bokvorken, wielarmen, wielvorken, draaikransen, dragersystemen, aanbouwsystemen, veringen of assystemen.
Daarbij heeft het deskundige advies van Wicke in de samenwerking met onze partners telkens weer geleid tot op maat gesneden oplossingen die getuigen van een groot innovatievermogen. Het hoofdkantoor met meer dan 300 medewerkers is gevestigd in Sprockhövel-Herzkamp, Duitsland. Verder zijn er fabrieken in Tsjechië en China. Operationele service-, montage- en distributiecentra bevinden zich in de nabijheid van klanten op onze grote afnemersmarkten.
