Steel Wheels and Castors FAQs – Heavy-Duty, High-Load Applications

Steel wheels and castors are built for very heavy loads and harsh industrial environments, offering extremely high load capacity and durability.

Steel wheels can damage sensitive floors and are therefore best used on reinforced concrete or steel tracks where floor protection is not critical.

Steel castors are often used on heavy-duty transport units, industrial trailers and equipment that operate in high temperature or abrasive environments.

Yes, solid steel wheels are ideal for high-temperature applications where rubber or plastic wheels would degrade.
